BPE provides Project Management and Engineering Design Services to the Pharmaceutical and Life Science Sectors in Ireland. As a company we specialize in the design and delivery of process-driven projects up to €100 million in capital value.

Due to continued growth and expansion we are seeking to hire a talented and ambitious CAD Technician. This position will be based in our Cork office

We require an experienced professional from the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.

Job Description

·         Performing day-to-day project duties producing 2D and 3D deliverables for Pharmaceutical and Life Science engineering projects.

·         You will be working under the direction of experienced Project Engineers, as well as utilising independent judgement.

·         Your primary responsibility will involve the generation of P&ID’s, schematics, 2D and 3D layouts and models.

·         You will be working in a dynamic environment which will enable you to challenge your abilities and CAD skills.

·         You will be part of an expanding team in a great Irish owned company, operating in Ireland, specialising in Pharmaceutical and Life Science sectors with a broad customer base including the world’s top 7 pharmaceutical companies.

The individual we are seeking will possess the following:

·         Experience and proficient in 2D / 3D AutoCAD.

·         Relevant experience, ideally in a design organization involved in delivering pharmaceutical capital projects

·         Previous experience of working with revit software is required.

·         Knowledge of process, mechanical and electrical drawings.

·         Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience working in a design consultancy is preferred.

·         Experience in pharmaceutical projects an advantage

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Proactive, self-motivated with an ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplined team.
