Autodesk Applications Specialist
Diatec are seeking an Autodesk technical specialist for a challenging career opportunity in the AECO and BIM Project areas of focus. Primarily based in Cork but flexible to cover our other offices in Galway and Dublin.

Core Duties:
• Provide clients with expertise in deployment of Software/technology solutions
• Provide clients with technical support on Autodesk products & solutions
• Provide active support & product expertise at marketing events such as conferences, tradeshows, webinars and seminars
• Creates or adapts industry solution contents and sales toolkits to market relevant solutions, including presentations, demo scripts and tech documents that can be used by Diatec Group in our typical sales process.
• Undertake Design Process Reviews and Technology Transformation workshops with clients.
• Attend & nurture industry user groups, including annual meetings and events.
• Drive profitability of the technical support/training/consultancy division in assisting on activities and innovative solutions and proposals.
• Provide professional onsite services and end to end support and service.
• Maintains own systems, communications and calendar effectively
 
Skills & Requirements:
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and have a minimum of 2+ years of experience using Autodesk software with the candidate also having some design, construction or fabrication knowledge.
Duties include technical training, BIM consultancy, client technical presentations & technical support to our customer base. Industry experience an advantage, but exposure and training will be an ongoing commitment
 
• 2+ year’s demonstrable BIM understanding and solutions application using Autodesk software.
• Industry experience in Architectural, Engineering, Construction or Fabrication
• Presentation skills
• Administration and configuration experience on Autodesk products an advantage
• Design Process Review skills
• Excellent presentation and demonstration skills
• Excellent communication skills
• A good understanding of balancing technical and commercial obligations that are client focused
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
