We are delighted that our recent Interior Architecture Graduates have continued the Department of Architecture's success this year. Recent graduates @Lydia Morgan, @Aleksandra Defratyka and @Taylor Hickey have all won awards at the IDI Graduate Design Awards 2019. Topping that @Aleksandra Defratyka won out from 600 entries, to claim the Grand Prix Prize, the top design award for graduates in Ireland across all categories.

leksandra Defratyka scooped the National Architecture, Interior Architecture and Sustainability top award with Lydia and Taylor coming runners up. Taylor Hickey was also a runner un in the Global Undergraduate Awards in the same week. All of these graduates are gainfully employed with top practices who recognise the quality of @Cork Institute of Technology graduates.

The Department of Architecture at Cork Institute of Technology is the only Department in the country to offer Architecture, Architectural Technology and Interior Architecture. We produce top graduates and our level 7 and 8 courses are in high demand on the #CAO.

Last Year Michael Fitton won the IDI Graduate Design award for interiors illustrating CIT's continued achievement of excellence in their Interior Graduates. Employers should be contacting us now marc.oriain@cit.ie to arrange interviews with 2020 graduates.

Leaving Cert students should be putting CIT architecture programs at the top of their CAO list!
